only got 1 bid to buy so far, but 13 watching, 5.5 days left, do you think that's ok? (I'm selling)

Hiya Ebayers!

I'm mostly a buyer not a seller on Ebay so I'm having a bit of a panic about my little listing to sell some nappies.

My listing has 13 watchers but only 1 bid so far (99p). I'm assuming everyone's just waiting to put bids in, as there are over 5 days left in the auction. Should I worry?

Thx so much

Great amount of watchers. People dont bid till the last minute often. And if you want more than 99p for it then give it a higher starting price, then you wont spent 5 days worrying that its not got enough bids. If its worth what your asking for it someone will pay for it.

No. I would always watch until the last day before bidding. AFAIK nappies do well on EBAY don't they?

Excellent that you have so many watchers!

Guess I have to just wait 5 more days. Ugh. I've got zero patience for this sort of thing! On the plus side, it's soo exciting in the last few minutes...

I was always told to start with super low bid to encourage interest. I guess that works. I'll just be gutted if it only sells for a couple of quid, I'm selling a kit of 10 nappies plus bits to go with...

If there was a drug to prevent worry I'd be the first to buy it

I never bid until the last hour!

And you already know I'm watching your nappies like a hawk... nappies sell really well on ebay and in my experience most people bid at the last minute.

Its good to start with a low price, if your happy for it to sell for that, just in case noone else bids. I start everything for 99p.
A few things sell for that price, but more sell for over and above what i could have hoped for so it evens itself out.

Thanks for the reassurance. Good luck SOH! ((HUGS))

You have to think of it as 6 days' advertising and the last day as the selling day - it's usually the way things go.
