Have you sold something on eVay for the buyer to then relist at a higher price?

I don't know why but I feel quite shitty that this has happened to me.
It's the buyers business what they do with it once it's theirs but I feel like I've been robbed in a weird way.
I suppose it'll teach me to put it on a buy it now price and wait it out instead of making a quick sale.

You sold it for a price you were happy with, I don't see the problem.

I can understand why you're annoyed, I would be too. I like to sell things at a price I'm happy with so I wait it out. If the item doesn't sell for what I think is a fair price, I either keep it, or give it away, charity shop and the likes.

it is one of your business if they sell it on after - who has the time to check what a buyer sells anyway?

I sold a Pram for £72 yesterday the buyer relistedit for £190 today.
I did have it at £150 for about a month and no one bought it so put it up for auction.

It might not sell at that price.

There are loads of ways eBay can make you upset.

Best thing you can do is to think: good I got rid of an item I no longer need and got a bit of cash for it. Don't think further than that and don't look for the items being listed by the buyer. Perhaps there are some people who make a living in that way - buying underpriced items and selling them on. You only should feel shitty if they specifically asked you to add a buy it now at their low offer price. Even then there is nothing you can do.

I bought a White Stuff skirt for 99p because it was very badly photographed and listed with an auction end time of 2am, or something daft.

It didn't fit, but I relisted it (properly!) and sold it on for £12.

If the seller has a problem with this, they should have marketed it properly in the first place!

A couple of times I have sold vintage clothes for quite a bit and seen them on specialist dealers websites for ALOT more but it was quite exciting. One was in New York and one in L.A

Remember they may not get what they are listing the pram for or may have to have it on there for ages and you got rid of it and have the cash. Try buy it now and best offer or start the auction a bit higher (the lowest you want). I might be tempted to watch it to see if it sells but not worry about it, you live and learn. That's ebay. You win some, you lose some. Some people buy and sell on regularly.

I had some shoes that didn't sell last week for £1.50. I relisted them for £9 and they sold within an hour!
