Seriously annoyed with selling on eBay

I've sold a car on eBay recently with cash on collection only.

1st buyer wanted to pay via PayPal which I declined as didn't feel right. If I'm honest I didn't realise the whole implications of PayPal for collection items but a read of the threads here brought me right up to speed!
So then buyer gets odd and eventually insists I cancel the sale as I'm being awkward!
Raised a non paying bidder case, had final value fee refunded, cancelled sale and then relisted.

Then car sells again and buyer number 2 wins. Contacts me within a few hours to say when could he collect. This was Wednesday. I've heard nothing. Angry very annoyed.

So I want to cancel the sale. Do I need to register a non paying bidder case or can I just cancel and get the final value fee back. Or do I have to go through the whole saga of raising a non paying buyer case?

Could really do with drawing a line under the whole hideous thing ASAP.

Lastly, first buyer left me negative feedback which I feel was undeserved. Do you think they would remove it?

I'm being to despise eBay AngryAngryAngry

Reply to the negative feedback - you can do that.

Sounds like you've been unlucky. Can you list it again?

Not sure how you can best cancel the sale - go to it in your Sold items folder and try to cancel it, and eBay will tell you how to proceed.

Contact eBay and ask them to remove the feedback, and explain your reasons why.
If you opened a non payment case and they didn't pay then eBay should remove the negative FB.

I'm a bit confused as to what you mean when you talk about buyer 2...... Do you mean you contacted them to ask when they could collect and you haven't heard anything? If so I'd request their phone number from eBay and try calling them.

If no luck, then open a non payment case, don't request a cancellation. If they ignore it, it will take 7 days to close out, where as you can escalate a non payment case after 3 days.
