I've messed up with one of my items, charged buyer £5 p&p said it would go via Royal Mail, they wanted £13, so booked in with Hermes, half the price, Hermes have let me down, sale been cancelled, end off. Now who do you all use for posting heaver items? I always use Royal Mail £2.85 for lighter items which is great, £1 extra for signed. I have used Ipost Parcels in the past, should have used them instead of Hermes, forgot about them though. Oh, Hermes have actually refunded me, the courier just didn't turn up Confused

Hermes but drop off at shop is what I usually use

Ok, no trouble for you then, that's good. I think I checked a while back doing this but the shop drop was too far, I've just checked again, they seem to have added a new place nearer. I might consider them again, save 35p buy doing that. I know it's not much but still, on my way to work, so handy. I might give Hermes one last try, I've been burned two times before, this time and one time when they dropped and broke item, partly my fault for not packing good enough and sending breakables they don't cover.

I use CollectPlus for larger/heavier items, not had any problems with them.

Just had a look, they look good, store drop very close, same sort of prices as Hermes. Thanks.

Always use MyHermes - have sent over 200 parcels with no problems.

I use signed for second class and for a dress it's about £2.60.

Cointreau Glad you've had no problems. When I tried to resolve my issues with them, there's no telephone number to call, their Live Chat wasn't on either, I emailed, then they emailed me back after a couple of days.
Jemmima I always use Royal Mail too, it's the stuff over 2kg, the Royal Mail get very expensive.

If you try the Parcel2Go website and put in the weight and dimensions it compares all the different services available, you might find a good option on there.

Yeah, sounds good, I'll have a look, thanks. I didn't realise there was so many companies.
