Hi i am selling some of my LPs and only siad I would only post to UK address, as less chance they will get damaged.

My auction ended yesterday afternoon. No payment has been recieved. I emailed soon after end of auction to ask for a UK adresss. But no reply yet. Address is in Russsia.

There is a second bidder. What should i do? How long should i wait as i cant find it in T&Cs.

I'd email the first bidder giving them a deadline (7 days maybe?) and then email the second bidder now asking them if they would be iterested inthe item after that deadline.

The first bidder may well have an english address to have the item sent to.

After 7 days with no response you can report a non paying bidder to ebay and get your final selling fee back.

thank you. i thought i might have to wait 7 days.uurrggg. I did it all on the 10p listing day so it will cost me more to relist.

You can go into 'My Ebay' and then on the lefthand side part of the way down - under the section My Account- select preferences. In this you can go into the 'buyer requirements' and you can block bids from people whose account isn't registered to the UK - this will stop this happening again.

I wouldn't offer to sell to a buyer who hasn't met your auction requirements - just send them a short but polite email via Ebay and hide your email address from them advising that you cannot trade with them as they have not complied with your requirements.

Some of the time these people are just after email addresses and you get loads of spam emails - as I know to my cost!

thanks andy. Russian chap has got back in touch to say he has no UK address. So i will do a second chance offer to 2nd bidder.

Thanks for tthe useful tip, I didnt set it as default as I am normally happy to post most things abroad, but forget with my LP auction.
