Buyer won three of my auctions yesterday. I do combine postage, however two of the items are bulky and relatively heavy, so won't make a huge difference to the total cost.
Buyer is based in the Ukraine. As I've had a couple of bad experiences with buyers in Eastern Europe claiming item non received or damaged, I'm now only using DHL to ship there. This was very clearly stated in the listings and shipping costs were clearly outlined.
I sent an invoice with combined shipping for the three items, which comes up to about £20. Buyer has since sent me two emails - in less than 24 hours - stating that she's not prepared to pay that much for postage, she didn't think it'd be so expensive (she knew it'd be when she bid) and anyway there's no need to send registered, plain old standard untraceable airmail is fine with her.
I've a feeling she won't pay
So, would you just offer to cancel the transaction now or wait to open an unpaid item dispute?
