Declining best offer due to buyers feedback

I'm selling a pair of designer shoes "buy it now or best offer". A buyer made an offer which I would of been willing to take. She had 100% feedback against her username however when I read the comments there weren't so complimentary, such as "no payment received & no communication, time waster" and "buyer cancelled payment after item was shipped, avoid".

I declined her offer but she has counter-offered with a higher offer. Should I decline her offer and message her the reasons behind it?

What should I do? I don't want people to see her offers and be put off thinking I'm not interested in selling. If she hadn't had negative comments I would of accepted.

I'd block her. But then I block any potential buyer who gives off a vibe of not being completely straightforward.

As someone who sells lots I wouldn't take the chance OP. Others sellers have obviously had trouble with her and you may well find yourself in the same situation if you accept her offer. Its not worth the hassle

I would be adding her to my list of banned bidders and rejecting her offer. I only sell at auction and don't know anything about fixed price listings/best offers - do you have to give a reason for not accepting?. If not, I'd just reject it without comment and wait for another buyer to come along. She will be well aware that her feedback is not good and that this might put sellers off.

If there was only one adverse comment I might take a chance if I was desperate to sell, but any more than that and I'd be avoiding at all costs.

You don't have to give reasons for declining an offer but there is an option to add a message.

I'd forgotten that you can block buyers. That is what I shall do. I don't want to risk loosing money to her.

I would also let her know that I was refusing because of the feedback comments. If I had dealt with this person previously and had had a bad experience then I would be quite glad that there were some consequences to the poor feedback left for her.
