selling advice please.

Hi.
Not sold anything for a few years.
Now having a big clear out and hoping to raise a few quid in the process.
Not expecting millions for a few bags of kids clothes .
Wouldn't turn it down if somebody offered!

Mostly wanting to sell dd old clothes.
Age 1-2 & 2-3 ish.

What is better? Selling as a bundle/job lot?

Or listing each thing individually...

I was planning on "carrier bag" size bundles for ease of posting.

Some are nearly new. Some "well loved". But ideal for nursery...
A proper mix of designer and supermarkets.
Pj's. Sleeping bags. All sorts.

How do I have most chance of selling it?
And for making a fair price?

It was all going to the charity shop until they sacked the lovely lady who worked there. For being nice and helping customers.

So now, I need space. I need money. And I would like to donate cash to a charity instead. As well as helping another skint parent clothe their child.
And recycling is always good.

I would do bundles, a lot quicker and easier than selling individually. Although any brand new and designer things I would sell on their own.

I would only try to sell new/nearly new or the designer stuff. Supermarket well-loved only go to charity shop, any charity shop; do you not have 7 charity shops in walking distance?

No. Unfortunately my village contains 3 pubs and one co-op. Even the nearby town won't allow a charity shop. It's either a bus on the hour (10-6) or you drive...

What would make a bundle? Couple pairs leggins and couple of similar coloured tops?

Have a look at Hermes for sending the items. Their prices can often be much lower than the Royal Mail. (I switch between the two depending on cost.)

Only list summer things now, leave autumn things til September. Think of size and weight rather than how many items in the bundle. This makes packing and posting easier.
Go for things like..2 shorts with 2 tops or dress and cardigan - don't do random bundles and don't bother with well worn items. Textile recycling is available for "well loved". Auction and start with a minimum or fixed price at a reasonable amount. You can search what items have sold for in the past using advance search.

Make sure you clearly describe (and photo) and stains / tears / rips, so you have less chance of buyers moaning and opening a not as described case.

With the Post Office a small parcel posts for £2.80 economy and can weigh up to 2kg.
Theres also Collect Plus, they are more expensive but tracked. You go to their website and pay for the label with Pay Pal, and you usually get a discount on your first order.
Print out the label and deliver it to the local shop, they scan it in and you're done.

I would do bundles of similar quality and price, and as you say put together a couple of outfits.

I don't think anything will sell if it has stains rips or tears on it. I wouldn't rely on buyers to read & comprehend those details, either. Don't even risk it or you'll end up with buyers complaining.

If no charity shop then advertise on your area freegle/freecycle and a 'For Free' notice on local Facebook selling pages. Someone will pick up the can't-sell-online-carboot-at-best items from you.
