If seller tells you to cancel and pay into a 3rd person's account?

Just wondering if you think this scenario is dodgy? Having already paid, seller says a/c not working and to cancel and pay into a 3rd person's account.

I think there would possibly be no recourse if anything went wrong.

No no no no no you only use PayPal. Do not ever cancel an eBay co tract or you have no come back at all

No, I won't cancel. The seller can cancel and refund if they want to do that. They can try to fix their a/c (if there is anything wrong with it).
