Been almost 3 months & seller hasn't delivered goods

I bought a heavy item at the end of Jan which was collect only.

I contacted the seller to arrange and he said he could drop off as he was in my area a fair bit over the next few weeks. Think he runs a business selling second hand equip.

He didn't contact me again & with one thing another Ia few more weeks elapsed. I emailed him about a month ago to say I would like to come and pick up on a day I was going to be in his town. He didn't get back to me in time and phoned the day after I wanted to collect to say again he'd drop off in next few weeks.

Not heard anything since.

Have opened a case requesting a refund, but not sure what if anything will come of it.

Anybody know what might happen / what else I can do.

So you paid? When its collection only you are supposed to pay in cash when you collect. I think you've been had unfortunately. Is the sellers ebay account still active?

Yes I automatically always pay by Paypal as it was a buy it now.

Seller account still exists but nothing listed for sale.

The last feedback he has is as a buyer within the last month. As a seller no recent feedback at all

Well usually you have 120 days to make a claim with paypal so fingers crossed you get the refund.

If you opened an eBay case for a refund then they won't enforce one after this time period. You will need to go through PayPal.
