So I sold an iPhone which I had paid the unlocking fee for, I have proof of this. With iPhones you do as much as you can but it only locks to the network when the buyer puts their own sim in.
Anyway, on the 27th of March, the buyer put in a claim saying it was still locked to the EE network and it wasn't as described. I replied immediately with proof of how I'd paid for the unlocking via EE and instructions from EE as to what he needed to do. By the 31st I had heard nothing so I asked if all was well.
It's now the 17th of April and I have still learn nothing. EBay told me to accept the return but the man's Spanish accent was so strong I couldn't understand the reasoning behind this plus I was at work during the phone call so couldn't talk for ages.
Is this correct? Should I accept the return and then inspect the phone IF he returns it to me? What if he doesn't return it to me?
