I'm sure this has often been asked but I can't find the answer, so I hope someone can help.

I don't think they'd exist if they didn't work.

whodhavethoughtit · 16/11/2015 17:30

yes of course they are - last minute bidding is what eBay is all about isn't it?

Footle · 16/11/2015 17:55

Thanks, that's what I thought, but someone else was very sure it could lead to eBay closing your account. Good, I can get on with it again. Many thanks for replying.

Yep, all fine. A surprising number of folk get quite arsey about people using them though and see them as cheating. Not sure why, you place the highest bid, you win, that simple.

Anyway, I use one called Gixen. Never let me down Smile

Footle · 16/11/2015 20:53

Thanks Sister. Is it just Gixen ? I can't identify it on app search.

I have been using Gixen for years - well worth it.

Apologies Footle, thanks for adding that oddly. It's been a long day Blush

Footle · 16/11/2015 23:20

Don't beat yourself up, Sister.
Gixen doesn't believe in my eBay ID for some reason - I'll try again tomorrow.

I've used Goofbid before. Never had a problem with it

Footle · 17/11/2015 19:41

Thanks, perhaps I'll have more luck with Goofbid - Gixen must be having a funny turn.

works fine for me, both buying and selling. Less happy about the latter of course but that's the way it goes!
