How do I leave "Follow up Feedback" comment

I recall being able to leave a reply to someone's feedback comment in the past but can't find out how to do this now.

E-bay are not replying to my pleas to remove some unfair negative feedback and as I can't leave negative feedback for the buyer and it's against the rules to leave a damning comment under the positive feedback option, I really want to be able to set the record straight with a follow up feedback comment.

I now have 2 unfair negative feedback comments in a month which e-bay simply won't get involved in for some reason. They just keep offering me more free listings.

Anyone ?

I keep my eBay window open, while logged in, then open a new page and search "eBay feedback response" through Google. The links should take you to an instructions page with a link to leave comments against your received feedback.

I sure there is a more 'direct' way, but that's how I do it!

Shame my %age has dropped from 100% to 96.8% though, really hope this won't put buyers off.

I would open a new account if your score is that low. And if you leave angry follow up it could make you look unreasonable to potential buyers tbh

I didn't want to leave angry feedback, just factual so I've already waited a few days to calm down and my follow up leads readers to check out the feedback history of the 2 people who left the unfair/untrue feedback, they both have form for it.

A couple of positive feedbacks have been left for me this morning and 2 more items have sold so hopefully the %age will creep back up.

I already have another ebay id with good feedback rating but could do with keeping both going to maximise the free listings as I sell most stuff really cheaply and having no listing fee really makes a difference.

I wouldn't advise opening another account. No matter how good a seller you are there is always the odd rocket who will leave uncalled for negative feedback, so you could build up another 100% rating just to have it ruined by another unreasonable buyer.

Buyers won't be put off by one negative, especially if you've added a decent, explanatory response.

Just concentrate on getting your feedback rating up again.

I have actually ended up with 3 ebay ID's - all linked to on paypal account. I basically ended up taking over my sister's and my sister in law's as I have sold their stuff for them in the past. They aren't currently using them and I only use my own original one for buying.

Percentage has already crept up to 97%, another batch of feedbacks (there are plenty outstanding as I've sold a lot of stuff recently) and I should be back to 98% which is my personal cut off point when I'm considering bidding on other people's auctions.

Just beware that if you have more than one eBay account and one gets restricted for falling below acceptable levels of defects, the others will usually be restricted also.
