Bought a mobile phone on Ebay that has been stolen! Action Fraud!?

After days of trying to get the stupid thing to work-O2 finally tell me it was reported stolen weeks ago and barred.

Ebay want me to fill in a form with

app01.actionfraud.police.uk/public/report/Survey.mvc/Welcome

which will give me a reference number that they can proceed with to issue me with a refund. But no matter which permutation of buttons I click-it says that no fraud has been commited and I should contact citizens advice! Selling a phone that is lost/stolen/barred count, surely!?

Can anyone help-I am sooooo frustrated!

How do I report comments to EBay-I am not spending another day being passed from department to department on their live chat who tell me eventually someone will ring me back in 48 hours and then doesn't!

Reply and tell him you will be passing his emails on to the police in relation to the theft. Then walk away. Set up an email rule to delete anything further from him. Life is too short.

Ring (not live chat) eBay and report seller for abusive texts. I had the same situation with eBay refunding me for a faulty item & seller then got abusive & threatening. The eBay phone customer service is normally a million times better than live chat.
