How best to cancel?

Buyer bought an item from me on BIN, it's a cash on collection item. Is suspect they're going to say they no longer want it- how do I go about cancelling it without any blame being attached to me, or being charged FVF? Thanks!

You can't just cancel because you "suspect" their not going to pay.

Message the buyer and see if they still want it. If they say no then the quickest route is to request a cancellation citing "buyer no longer wants the item" as the reason.

If they don't answer, as long as it's three days after the sale date, open a non payment case.

DONT re list until cancellation has gone through. You don't want to end up with a defect because you have two buyers but only one item to sell!

Go into your seller dashboard on the desktop site, beside the item in the drop down menu the is an option to 'cancel the order' the buyer doesn't have to accept it like they used to so they can't refuse to cancel, it's automatic.

They can still leave you negative feedback though so I would wait and see if they actually want to cancel first.

Thanks both, sorry I didn't explain that very well. The buyer had sent me a rather ambiguous "sorry it's not worth it" email after I'd already accepted their offer. I emailed them and asked to clarify if they definitely no longer wanted it and they've said they don't. I sent the cancellation request this morning (for buyer changed mind reason) but they've still not accepted it- bit frustrating Confused

How long do I have to wait before I can relist?
