Cash buyer but low feedback?

Would appreciate some advice please...I'm selling an expensive heavy item as a BIN, have had a message asking to buy it for less, cash on collection. But although the buyer registered over a year ago, they've only got one feedback. I have my filters set to reject bids from buyers with less than 10 feedback, but they haven't bid so it hasn't kicked in. Obviously cash takes some worry out of it, but should my spidey senses be tingling??

Thanks in advance...

no not really. The worst that can happen is bad feedback. But why accept less than the price you want?

DH has been registered on Ebay for 12 yrs & never bought or sold a thing (I do all the commerce). Doesn't make him dodgy. Cash is as safe as it gets, I'd sell to them for sure.

Thanks both. Was considering the lower offer as although I've got a fair few watchers, no one else has showed any proper interest

No, not really. Everyone has to start somewhere and some people have accounts but use them very infrequently.

Also the way things are now on ebay we are lucky to get feedback as loads of buyers don't bother I wouldn't be worried as you have the cash facture in your favour, also remember a lot of items don't get bids until the last few minutes of the auction. Best of luck.

Thank you both. I'm reassured but will try and be patient and see if anyone else bites at the asking price.
