I listed 2 brand new pairs of trainers as Buy it now or best offer but though there were lots of watchers no-one bit.

They weren't overpriced just sale price as that is how I bought them and BNIB.

What now? Ebay has relisted but any other routes? Gumtree? I stupidly bought them in Office sale without trying on and I am a 4 in shoes but forgot I have to size up in trainers.

You can advertise on Gumtree. No harm, it's free, but I wouldn't be too confident on selling them on there.

Trainers don't fetch a lot on eBay, unless they are very popular ones.

I recently sold a brand new pair of Nike Air Max 1s for £34 (auction) on eBay and the RRP was £90.

Did you have a look and see what similar pairs are selling for on eBay before deciding your price?

If you want to sell on eBay as a BIN, it sounds like you need to lower your price accordingly, and accept that you're going to have to take a hit on this one.

Or sell them on an auction. That's a bit of a risk that you won't get the price you want, but then there's that old saying "they're only worth what someone will pay".

I think I may just do an auction.

The thing is they are both quite popular and popular sizes.

I think I will leave them up as they were relisted automatically (don't think you can take down). One pair now has 2 watchers.

try buy it now with best offer. And if no bids you can end an auction if you wish.

yes I think buy it now needs a best offer option as well. Be prepared for silly offers, which you can decline, but perhaps add a couple of £ to allow for a lower offer.

id it too late to return them, as I thought you could still return sale items?

No with Office you can only return sale items if you bought them online not instore unless you get confirmation verbally from a SA (like I did once).
