How can I back out of a purchase?

I have bought some goods from a supplier in Hong Kong. Each time paid with Pay Pal.

The other day I purchased again, then noted that they only accept money order or personal cheque.

I queried this and said I am not happy to send money that far. Also her delivery times are very slow and there has been some -ive feedback.

I have not heard back and have sent an email saying I would like to cancel the order.

Do I need to wait for the seller to relist the item or can I actively cancel the order?

Thx to those who know more about ebay than I do.

I think if you did a buy it now you are supposed to go through with a purchase, but e bay recommend that you dont send money orders abroad, and I am sure personal cheques from the uk wont work have you tried contacting e bay?

I have backed out on a purchase before and explained my reasons to the seller and offered to reimburse listing fees which they were happy with.
