I wouldn't buy from someone who has not put a picture on their auction, or couldn't supply one via email, no.

misdee · 13/11/2006 11:43

depends what it is

JoolsToo · 13/11/2006 11:45

did the other items sell without pictures or with?

if he/she always sells without a picture you're probably ok but if they normally do I'd wonder why not this time

tortoise · 13/11/2006 11:56

uno extreme
Most of the sellers items have pictures.

I would buy it - I saw a childs sit in red car with yellow handle advertised and cos i knew roughly what it was like i bought it, luckily for me having no pic mustve put everyone off, so I got it for £1.50 and it was a smoby, hardly been used.

Uno is only a fiver isnt it, has the seller got good feed back?

tortoise · 13/11/2006 12:04

Yes feed back looks good.
Cheapest ive seen it in shops is around £15.
Postage is £5.50 so not all that cheap!

mail and ask for a picture.

They are a newish seller and seem to be selling multiple items - so I would be a bit wary I think.

MrLSG · 13/11/2006 12:38

For something new and fairly widely available, then a picture adds little. Even if they do have a picture, lots of sellers just get pictures off the web: e.g. from Amazon .

Looks legit to me (except they describe themselves as a private seller when clearly they are a trader - but that's common too).

JoolsToo · 13/11/2006 15:35

all previous items have been sold using a stock photo but feedback is good. I'd say go for it. Five pounds is not a lot to risk anyway!
