Obviously missed the notification on this one but just noticed that I have been charged by ebay for selling then again by Paypal for the transaction - when did that start?

PayPal have always charged to use their service, something like 5%?

GemmaTeller · 22/05/2015 12:59

Three charges usually:

Listing fee by ebay (unless you get free listings)
Final valuation fee (including postage) by ebay
Paypal fees on the transaction.

yes paypal take the fees at source, eBay send an invoice for their fees. It has always been like this.
