Bought items that don't look like what I ordered.

Bought two beauty items from a seller, and I wanted them for their trial sizedness, but when they arrived the contents had been decanted into separate tester-type pots.

The seller had said they were samples, but no mention was made of them being sent in different packaging to the photographs provided.

I've contacted seller to say I'm not happy, but no response as yet. Really think I want my money back, though amount is less than a fiver. Am I being daft to raise concerns with ebay if I don't hear anything from the seller in a week?

no you aren't daft - do open not as described case. And leave appropriate feedback and stars if necessary. And waiting a week is too long, 48 hours is plenty for a reply seeing as they are a business.

Yes, this is not right and the correct thing to do is to open a not as described case.

Thanking you! Had no response yet, seller has 90 as feedback rating so not necessarily a shop, but should want to help out a chuffed-off buyer!

If they are buying something to sell on as decants then they are a business and should be registered as one with eBay and HMRC, regardless of what they think.
