ebay buy it now questions

Hi, I dont ebay much and tend to buy rather than sell.
Having a clear out of kids clothes and one item has attracted a lot of interest and two people asking if I have a buy it now price?
Are they expecting to do a deal outside of ebay - or hoping I will put a buy it now price in the listing - but this will incur me with extra fees won't it?
I havent responsed yet.
Also how do they pay me if its not through the normal channel of ebay?

If a process is too faffy I'd say no and wait for item to end. If you don't sell you can list with a fixed price and best offer option as this offers more straightforward flexibility.

no - they are prob asking you to add a buy it now option and pay via paypal. If you deal off eBay then it is against the rules.
