I listed 2 My chemical romance tickets this evening, they sold within 15 minutes, anyway, have been checking out the bloke's feedback and I think he is a tout, also I have noticed that on his auctions he states that he do not take paypal, and I put twice in my auction that I can only take Paypal as it is so close to the gig date (sunday) what do I do????

have you emailed him?

SparklyGothKat · 07/11/2006 23:03

I have invoiced him. He hasn't paid yet, or emailed me. Can't tell him I have been checking out his feedback and his auctions.

if he can;t pay you by paypal he can;t fulfil his obligation to you and therefore i thik you can relist...

SparklyGothKat · 07/11/2006 23:06

Should I wait till tomorrow? He brought them very fast, but hasn;t paid or emailed me, just worried that if he doesn't take paypal then he can't pay via paypal.

Sparkly, he'll still be able to pay you by paypal even if he doesn't accept it as a payment method on his own auctions.

If it were me I'd:

email him and say if he has to pay in full via Paypal by 12 noon tomorrow, or you will relist the tickets.

If necessary you can relist them as a 1 day auction - this will still give you time to get them to the winning bidder, as you can send the tickets by guaranteed next day delivery.

Fattymumma · 07/11/2006 23:09

agree with Humph. he knows its a time limited item and so its not being too pushy to expect speedy payment in order to get them posted out in time.

plus, what he does with them is up to him. as long as you got the monet you required for them don't worry, hopefully he will pay up then get caught flogging them to someone else.

SparklyGothKat · 07/11/2006 23:10

Have emailed him, saying 'Congratulations on winning my auction. please pay via paypal so I can post the tickets to you, many thanks'

He has messaged me saying that he wants to pay cash. He lives not far from here. Have messaged him saying that I will meet him at the local shopping centre. I don't like people coming to my house.

Make sure you have the cash in your hands fully counted before you even show him the tickets. Chances are he will be lovely and polite but don't risk anything here.

biglips · 08/11/2006 09:39

oh i thought it be the outside drain (not read your post properly)

yep best to do it manual as we did it with ours but be aware its smelly (of course!!)

biglips · 08/11/2006 09:39

oops!! wrong thread!!!!!!

munz · 08/11/2006 09:40

and take someone with you as well jsut to be safe (not that there should be an issue in a shoping centre but just to be sure )

SparklyGothKat · 08/11/2006 09:40

I will do, DH will be with me, so I am not going alone.
