Item I purchased and have received has now been unlisted

I ordered a micro SD card on eBay last week as part of DH's birthday present. It arrived yesterday, I was a bit surprised that it wasn't in the 'proper' packaging. It's in a case with an adapter but not in the Sandisk cardboard or anything like they have been when I've got them from a shop. Can't tell if it's been used or not.

Got an email from eBay telling me it's been unlisted and that if I haven't received the item to escalate it through the relevant channels.

For what reasons do eBay unlist?

Just a word of warning if you got it cheap check the capacity as it's not likely to be what it says. The cheaper ones are xards that failed internal testing I.e wrong size or too slow. I fell for this with a Usb stick that corrupts everything.

It says 32GB. Will check, ta.
