Ok, having a hard time recently with sick child, miscarriage, car being towed etc so need extra cash so sell some of dd's old clothes on ebay. use partners account as he has brought and sold over the years. all the items sold and finished a couple of days ago and all people paid within 24 hours on paypal. however we had a shit weekend as dp's dad found out he had cancer and his mum has got a lump and having biobsy and scans done etc. so completly forgot about sending the stuff. realised earlier so just emailed all the people saying how sorry i was and family emergency etc and that would get it sorted within 48 hours and would email to say been sent.

if you were these people would you be ok with that? we have bag loads os stuff to sell as we need the money so really dont want negative feedback.

Hi I use Ebay all the time and as long as you have explained why and let them know when they will get their stuff most people should be fine - I would be anyway. Otherwise dont worry about it there is nothing else you can do and you can always leave a comment next to their feedback so other people can see and maybe dont leave a feedback for them till they have left one for you they will be less likely to put bad one cos might get one back!

I'd be happy that you had taken the time to let mw know, I hope the buyers are understanding.

as someone who uses e bay loads, far to much really I would be fine especially as you had the decency to let me know, I would be supprised if you get negative it would be a really unreasonable thing to do.

Amyjo, unless anyone gets back to you saying they are desperate for the item I would take it that everyone is pleased you have let them know. besides which so far your delay has been less than a week. Dont worry too much.
