I won a bedding set for baby room last night no longer stocked by shop
email this morning that her children had destroyed it and would need to wash it and re list any salvageable bits

granted I know accidents happen but so annoyed . I wonder if anything do with the cheap price 16.00 total.
I have had this 2-3 times in last six months
its excuses more and more

sent one message with pic from one sheet we asked for pics of the rest but after two days with no response I sent a request to cancel the sale which she has now done.
annoying but I was wary we might end up with more issues . he not in a cot just yet so we got time to get a different set

I got sent a cancelled sale notice recently for a box of mr potato head bits. Apparently "no longer in stock".... what?! Obviously a second hand box full.... but sold less than expected to.

I cant leave negative feedback as the sale hasnt gone through so there isnt a space for me to leave feedback.....

How annoying. I'm afraid it does sound like a lie.

my fear was even if received them would have been stained and not usable . then its trying to get them sent back
figured better not to deal someone like that

Is cancelling a sale becoming a bit of a thing now on ebay? I've never known it before but yesterday I was trying to get my DS an x box and twice I won the items and a few minutes later the sellers cancelled! I'm assuming too that it was due to them wanting more money but I hope ebay still charges them the sellers fee.

if they sent a cancellation request can't you refuse it? And then they will be landed with fees to pay.

I've had sterilizer "dropped", a full set of baby things that she just refused to let go at that price (she relisted, I reported and ebay removed.). Someone just couldn't find something when it came time to post it and some jeans I bought just didn't turn up (never marked as posted, never provided tracking number and refunded very very quickly when I opened a not received case despite me saying if she confirmed when posted I was happy to wait to see if they turned up - still haven't and would now no longer fit the child they were for) but on the flip side buyers are also cancelling more, we had a big clear out recently and the number of buyers who placed the winning bid by accident is just silly.
