I bought a pair of jeans which are in my size & I expected to fit.

They arrived & are beyond tight. I think they've been booked washed & tumbled dried. I thought my 11 yr old DS might like them but they are "too tight mummy !" on her.

They were described as great condition.

WWYD? I actually don't know anyone skinny enough who would fit them !

Do you have other jeans the same brand and size? Brand sizing can vary massively so unless you know that you normally fit into that size and brand then you don't know if they have shrunk.

Yes I do have them, same size, make, brand etc.

I would contact the seller and depending on their response open a case.

I have & she's said she bought them off eBay & they were too small (no mention of this in the listing though).

I'm a bit stuck, she was very pleasant. Perhaps I'll suggest that I pay for the return...

In my opinion it is the chance you take when buying from ebAy and unable to try on. If they are in good condition and otherwise as described i would leave it or may be sell on

So the seller is trying to pull a fast one.

It looks like she's sold you a defective item. Either she refunds and pays for the return postage or you open a case. It's a simple as that.

MsDran · 03/05/2015 12:46

I would point out to the seller that you have the same size and style already and that these have clearly shrunk so are not in great condition and would therefor want a refund.

Cherryapple1 · 03/05/2015 12:46

she knew they were to small - so yep, def open a case
