I bought a pair of boots off my daughter to go away with. At the beginning of the week the seller said they'd been away for 2 weeks & would post item. I advised I needed by Thursday (yesterday) & said please send ASAP & 1st class. Buyer then got back to me saying sent but more postage please pay. They may be foreign as not fluent English & no amount to pay. (I paid £5.20, they said its class £5.80, did they seriously want me to pay 60p ?).

DD went away this am, boots arrived this afternoon Angry. Postage was as small parcel - cost £3.30 !!

Fortunately I was able to buy her a pair of new boots, last night (thank you decathlon) & she wore those.

How do I get a refund..or am I even entitled to one ?

You certainly don't need to pay anymore postage thats for sure your seller is taking the "mick".
Do you want to keep the boots or send them back as you have ever right to as they never arrived within the specified time,I would open a case and send them back if it was me and claim for the return postage.I would also leave the relevant feedback for postage and time to arrive,

I would have returned them but my mum has now said she will have them.

I'm cross though at the lateness & also the postage. I don't think 'entitled' to the refund though.

Yes will leave negative feedback.

Shame because the boots, had they arrived in time, would have been fine Hmm

Keeping boots & partial refund for overcharging of postage.

Ok with this.
