Ebay seller cancelled sale after I received the items - [confused]

I bought some trousers on ebay a couple of weeks ago and received them soon after but I've just received a message from ebay saying that the seller has cancelled the purchase. There's no problem with them so why would someone do this? Should I accept or decline the cancellation request? Confused

I'd imagine they're trying to get away without paying their eBay fees for the sale.

You can respond to it stating you think there must be a mistake as you have received the item and are happy with it.

Or contact the seller direct through messages and ask if she has mistaken you with another buyer.

I've had this a few times, it's always been that the seller is trying to get out of paying their selling fees.
I have always rejected the request.
