Should I re-message seller who isn't responding to a query? Item runs out in a few hours.

If selling, do you check your messages regularly? Especially before a potentially expensive item is about to run out? I'm really into something but have a small but vital question re pick up timing. I've sent a nice, straight forward message, saying I'm prepared to bid to win once I get a reply, but I've heard nothing back all day. Seller currently only has one bidder so I thought she'd be keen to encourage a bit of competition. If I don't get an affirmative answer to my question I won't be able to bid as I'll have to make plans in the next couple of hours for pick up tomorrow. Should I message again or is that just being pushy?

Thanks. I've messaged again, but STILL no reply, and I think I might have to resign myself to letting it go. I could still bid but it would mean committing to a 3h round trip to pick it up later in the week, whereas tomorrow I do have a genuine errand virtually on this woman's doorstep. Which I why I need her to simply answer whether pick up tomorrow, anytime at all, is possible. So frustrating, as it is something I have been looking for for a while and looking at way the auction is going I could save £100+. Sorry for the rant

It could just be that your seller is working to-day and can't get to messages or maybe she has gone away for a day or two,sometimes when I have a week of nights I go straight to bed when I come in the last thing on my mind is ebay sales,I do hope she gets back to you though and you win your item.

Sometimes you can send several messages and never get a reply, people just don't check.
I have even tried again on an unsold and re-listed item, still no reply. I assumed the messages went to junk mail and that they weren't bothered, so bought elsewhere.
