I won an auction but the PayPal payment is "pending"

And on my PayPal account I have the message ' xxxseller hasn't accepted yet'
I haven't come across this before, what does it mean?

the seller needs to click on the link to accept the payment. Message them and tell them the email address the payment has gone to. Then they can add that address to their paypal account.
