Sold a double bed (divan base that comes apart into two bits, double mattress, headboard) a couple of weeks ago. Buyer came the following weekend to collect. He came in a fucking hatchback or something. Bed predictably did not fit in, so he took the headboard (the nicest bit), the drawers and half - half - the base.
Buyer actually lives on the south coast - we are in the north of England - but owns a holiday home not particularly near here (about 90 min away).
Said he couldn't come the next weekend so would come the weekend after that to collect the rest. Couldn't be arsed to relist/resell bed so have lived with half a bed in the hall for a fortnight.
He was supposed to be coming back this afternoon/evening to collect but haven't heard from him since Friday and has been a no show. I have twice suggested that we arrange a man+van to get the rest of it to him as probably cheaper than his fuel costs. No response.
I am heavily pregnant and beyond fucked off. How long do I have to store his bloody half-a-bed before I can give up and take it to the tip? Fortunately he paid cash (and then again via Paypal, but I had the decency to refund!).
Thoughts/suggestions appreciated. I just want my hall back!
