Oh wise EBayers, I have 4 virtually new 'summer tyres' for a Golf GTi to sell....changing DH's car, and want to put them on Ebay with postage possible. Which courier would take this kind of thing and for how much? Many thanks xx

Rather than mess about finding courier's and getting all sorts of quote's I would first ring Parcel Force the Royal Mails delivery service on 03457 740 740 if you give them an average size of your tyres they will give you a guide line they are very helpful, they also pick up and at your home address so you have the receipt from them that its on its way.I'm not too sure about other courier's I know myhermes may not take them if parcelled to-gether but they may if they are done separatley and their prices are very good indeed and you get the tracking as well as.good luck sweetie.

The last time I sent two large items to the same address by Parcel Force the cost for one was eye-watering but then the cost for the second was very low because it was simply an addition to a consignment.

If it was me I would probably find a transport company and send by pallet. If I remember right half a pallet would cost around £30

Thanks Talita. x

Weigh them, measure them and then input the measurements into Parcel Monkey or Parcel2go and see who comes up cheapest.
