I have a whole heap of potato chitting trays like these

(Sorry for pinching the link from another Ebayer)

I'd like to get rid of mine. I've never really sold anything on Ebay before. Just the odd item of clothes here and there. I've got no idea how I would package and post an item like this. Can anyone advise me?
TIA

Will you be selling them as a job lot or individually?

Do you have a big enough box to put them in?

Otherwise you could do bubblewrap/cardboard/brown paper - but I might be inclined to offer collection only - even though it narrows your market.

I think I'd sell them individually and also in sets of 2 or 4.

I live in the middle of nowhere (hence having potato chitting boxes! Grin) so I don't think I'd get far with collection only....

They are huge.
I imagine I would wrap and tape cardboard around every possible exterior surface & then double bag the pair in something like black bin bags; tape on the label in about 6 different ways and places. Try to tape over cardboard edges so that they don't poke holes in the exterior bags.
No way I'd waste bubble wrap on those.
Parcelforce probably best price, but you'll have to check carefully.
