I've had a bill for over £100, I'm not sure how the charges are worked out but this seems high to me, how are they worked out?
Thanks

paypal charges are deducted before you get your money so you don't get a bill. Don't you mean eBay fees?

I normally allow 15% overall.

Are you just talking about Paypal charges? Or do you mean Paypal and ebay charges, or, more likely, just ebay charges? ebay charges at 10% of each transaction amount.

Hi
No it's PayPal charges. It came in a specific email. I'm sure it's correct, but it just seemed a lot.

Manually type PayPal .co.UK in a new browser page and check your account manually. There's lots of spam about atm.

sounds like spam to me. Paypal do not send you a bill. Does the email have a link for you to click to pay this bill? If so - do not click on it.

Can you paste the email here?

The email is from PayPal but it is ebay fees, payable to ebay Europe Sarl.
Sorry Blush

I thought it would be ebay fee's as pay-pal fees are taken as soon as you sell your item and the balance put in your account, you have certainly been busy to have fee's at that level are you using all your free insertions every month and making use of any free ad week-ends that can really reduce your monthly bill or just made big sales with a few items, this past month my savings just £18.34 so I have saved quite a bit this month.

Just a quick note. There is a dodgy email doing the rounds asking you to update your account details. It says dear PayPal customer rather than the genuine emails which will say dear joe smith or whatever your name is. PayPal wil not ask you to reply to most emails regarding security so don't be fooled into sharing password and bank details as this email asks.
