Ebay Newbie - Does this buyer seem weird to you?

So I'm de-cluttering and selling stuff on ebay. My first load of auctions ever is ending tonight and at the moment, I have the same highest bidder for 8 out of my 19 items. I'm selling still new, unworn children's clothes in a few different sizes. Is it common for the same buyer to buy so much stuff for differently aged children?

This might sound really stupid, I'm so new to Ebay but my worry is that it's some dodgy person wanting all my stuff and then saying they never received it so I have to refund all the money and make a loss, plus lose my items.

It is not necessarily anything to be concerned about but you will need to sort out the postage for sending lots of items together. Ask the buyer to wait for an adjusted invoice once they have finished buying. Make sure you send the items securely tracked and add the tracking number to the transaction details - also make sure you are covered for the full amount should you need to be compensated by RM or a courier service. You could ask buyer to await an invoice after you have packed up and weighed your parcel so you can check the cost. Royal mail 1st is quick but 2nd has a good offer at the moment which is £3.90 signed for service up to 2kg with a decent size allowance. Larger parcels will be cheaper to go courier which takes around 3 days. There is not much chance of a tracked service going astray but it isn't unheard of - just cover yourself for any possible loss if you have to claim. Have a look at the buyers feedback history to see what they are like - fb left for others fb as a buyer etc

If I buy clothes on eBay, I will usually look at what else the buyer is selling as, if I like one item of theirs, I may well like others and it saves postage to buy a few things from one seller. They may be hoping to purchase things in bigger sizes to put away.

I would take the precautions suggested by robin64 but not be too worried at this stage.

Plus you may well get new bidders at the last minute which make it so this one person can't buy everything anyway.

Always send 2nd class recorded delivery - it's £3.90

There is no point in sending untracked, millions of people just pretend they haven't received it.

I always send Hermes - £3 and guaranteed to track. RM rarely bother with signatures I find.
