I buy, sell and collect a specific range of items through ebay and similar websites (very niche but I don't want to out myself by saying what exactly) anyway in January I came across an item located in the USA - this item is considered extremely rare and I don't expect to see another one anytime soon (if ever)
It was advertised at a buy it now price but unfortunately this was ridiculously more than its true value. I messaged the seller with a bid for it based on what it was worth to me. The seller then accepted the offer and I purchased it at the agreed price plus postage. After 12 days of no word from the seller I messaged them again to check it had dispatched ok. The response I had back (two days later) stated that it hadn't and it would instead be shipped the following Wednesday (5 days away) despite being cross I didn't respond to the seller in the hope of still getting the said item.
Finally after more than 2 weeks of waiting and with no explanation for the delay the item was finally posted and arrived 10 days later. I'm pleased with the item but felt it appropriate to leave the seller neutral feedback because of the unexplained delay. Today I had message from said seller asking me to change the feedback because they'd given me a discount on it and threatening to leave me bad feedback if I didn't do so. Aibu to leave the feedback as it is or should I change it? I got the item in the end but still feel there service was appalling... Sorry this is long
