When did you order the item and how was it sent over ?
Did the seller use there own courier or did it get sent as part of ebays global postage program ?
If the Gloucester address is a depot it has been delivered to then it will have been signed for and sounds like it is part of the global postage program
The way that works is you buy from the states and the price includes shipping stateside, customs duties and delivery in the uk. In order to do this the seller sends it to a depot in the US were it is signed as delivered, they then address it to the UK depot, fill in customs paperwork, pay anything due and send it to a depot in the UK, were it is again signed as delivered. This depot then sends it via courier to you at the final destination. The final UK courier part can sometimes take upto a week as they only use a cheap 3-5 day service.
If you click in MyEbay on purchases and view the tracking info on a desktop computer what is the depot name it shows for delivery ? (dont do it on a mobile or app as you dont get full tracking info)
If you google this depot name it shows you should get a website or phone number, you can then ring them and ask for tracking number and courier it is coming on final part of journey to you with
I expect with Christmas it is just stuck in system and possibly if the UK end was using citylink to get it to you they are frantically trying to get replacement couriers sorted for a warehouse full of items that they cant forward on due to citylink going bust
