Amazon marketplace question

I know it's not ebay but wondered if I could ask here?

The ad says dispatched from and sold by littlecraftybugs. This appears to be a genuine craft company. I thought they might be pretty good quality for making some xmas cards.

Anyway, the stamps came and they are crap. Like, less than poundshop quality. The printed picture is nothing like the picture in the ad. The stamps are of a different design than the ad. And the weird thing is my Amazon account now says these have come from REESH-ARPANET. Checking out their profile they are not a craft company, just someone who sells a pile of crap.

The only way I seem to be able to complain is to contact seller (REESH-ARPANET) directly. They say item sold is as described. There seems to be no way of complaining to Amazon that I purchased items from one seller and received from another.

I know it's only £5 wasted but I'm annoyed and bewildered and will be very careful before buying on Amazon again.

Can anyone shed any light on how this may have happened?

I sell on Amazon Marketplace and my experience is that they are far harsher on their sellers than Ebay are.

I'm not sure how you complain but there will be away. I think you may need to email the supplier (should be a link from you order history) and then you can escalate from there.

If you can't find it let me know and I'll dig a little deeper - I really don't want Amazon marketplace dragged down by one or two bad sellers, as it unfairly affects the reputation of all sellers.

They have offered to refund me £2. If I accept then I guess the case is closed.

I'm thinking of contacting littlecraftybugs to ask why the product didn't come from them. Then will try to escalte to Amazon.
