Argumentative seller

I ordered a duvet set recently in a dark colour. I washed it once at 40 degrees before I was going to use it, and it has faded significantly.

The seller is 'not happy' that I want to return it for refund at their expense, and has accused me of washing it at a high temperature. I wrote back telling the seller how I washed it, and have told them that I will be returning the item.

Has anyone experienced this? I'm concerned that if I return it at my own cost the seller will refuse to pay the return postage.

just open a case and ask eBay to give a prepaid label - and do neg if the seller is refusing a refund, it is not permitted.
