Last December I bought a mirrored dressing table. The panels corroded and in September of this year they replaced it.

The first one got smashed moving it downstairs (dh walked into it in the dark).

The replacement one is two months old and the panels are again corroding.

They have refused to do anything about it because the old one got damaged.

Do I have anywhere to go?.

We only took it apart because I thought it would be a helpful thing to do, no good deed goes unpunished though.

Anyone? Sad

There just saying "accidental damage invalidates warranty"

This new item isn't damaged by us, it's turning patchy black Sad when it ought to be mirrored.

go to trading standards I would have thought. It isn't accidental damage to this one so surely they are wrong on that?

Good idea, I'll never be helpful again and dismantle something.

I'll google their local trading standards office.
