should I leave neg review

Hi all, I have posted about it earlier. Bought a cardi from a buyer in France, which I was happy with, but postage was 3 times what it cost her which I thought was cheeky. I paid a good price for the item and i feel she was just boosting her income by being dishonest about postage cost. She sent it in an enveloppe, not even a jiffy bag. I politely asked her to refund part of the difference, she didn't get back to me. I was simply not going to r/v but Ebay want me to. Now I know it's cowardly but I am establishing myself as a buyer (3 reviews so far!) but I fear if I give her a bad review, give me a bad one back and i'll lose sales. WWYD?

a seller can't neg a buyer - and yes you should neg and leave low stars if you are unhappy. You can't lose sales if you are a buyer.

Well that is ressuring. I was worried she'd come back and give a review such as "Whataboutbob is a neurotic whinger who knew the postage fee when she bought and now chooses to complain. I advise blocking her".

Low stars for P&P and comms on the DSRs - 3 or less makes a difference to seller - you can do this with pos fb if you feel happy enough with item itself. Just write "item as described, P&P much higher than actual cost" or words to that effect - keep fb factual.

Please don't buy and sell on the same account for this reason. If you Piss off a seller they can buy from you to trash your feedback.
Make sure you add this person to your blocked bidder list and then open a separate account to buy with.

Too much hassle to have separate accounts. I would leave low stars for P&P, then just leave f/b along the lines of "nice item, postage a bit steep". You did know the postage cost at the time whether it was high or not.

Professional sellers all have separate buying accounts. If you are buying and selling in any kind of volume it's far too much hassle to block potential problematic ebayers . Added to this many sellers buy from other users and resell, you hardly want customers seeing how much you paid for stock now do you?

Keeping accounts separate is very sensible advice indeed and will probably echoed by other users on here.

Bobs - that is not the point. The buyer trusted the seller to charge accurately for p&p - they weren't to know how much it would cost. Sellers are not meant to profit on postage - any overcharging is just greed.

I left a neg the other day - dodgy seller selling fake items. Well not only did they respond saying I lived in the same area as their competitor (so obviously I only bid to neg) but it was also removed. And every neg they have ever received - the comments have vanished. A shame that honest negs are just removed in this way I thought.
