Different names/addresses on Ebay and Paypal

I assume I'm doing this right, but is it normal to have one name and postcode on the winning bid on Ebay, then when you go through to Paypal to get the name and address for the courier, it's totally different?

I send to the Paypal info, but I find it very confusing...

I use my home address on EBay, and work address for Paypal shipping.
I do get a few emails to clarify which is correct.

I get that but sometimes it's a totally different name too!

I assume it may well be their partner, but it just makes me pause for a minute as to whether I'm doing it right!

always use the name and address given from Paypal - it could be a gift address too.
