Ok I'm new to selling on eBay. I'm selling a walker that turns into a ride on and trailer. I've been contacted by someone who said she is prepared to offer 10 for it and collect it tomorrow. It doesn't end til next Saturday evening. I've had no bids. It would mean ending it early. Is this even allowed? I don'tt want to face penalties or unnecessary fees etc.

If it's collected for cash the ebay safety goes a bit out of the window anyway. Tell her you'll change your listing to 'buy it now' for £12 and she can still collect and pay cash. You'll need the extra to cover additional selling fees.

Change your listing to a buy it now and tell her to buy it?

I hadn't thought of that! I told you I was new. Oh and also how much are the fees? It all seems very confusing I'm beginning to wonder if its worth it and I've only listed three items so far! :)

fees are 10% - but more if you take paypal. But you know never to take paypal for collected items?

I never took the offer in the end. I'm letting the auction take its course. And yes I've been warned that about PayPal.
