Buyer complaining not as described

I sold a lovely JL duvet - it is european goose down. However, buyer has found a label saying made in China, and wants to return as they don't believe it's made from European feathers.

It was over £150, so I'm quite pissed off, and concerned it might have been use or damaged by buyer.

I've explained it's possible for something to be made in China from European materials. But he wants a refund. Can I refuse! Will ebay just side with him?

Can you get a photo of the label with the jl item number and ask jl to confirm the down they used?

I just called JL with the item number (I still have the purchase on my JL account online). As they don't sell it any more, he thinks they can't find out. Grrr.

no you can't refuse a return. Just get it back and relist. Why can't you screenshot your JL account to prove that is where you bought it?

Does it say "European" anywhere on the duvet?

I wonder what the migratory patterns are of that particular type of goose.
