On the advice of here I have started doing 'free' or rather inclusive postage and thats working well. I sell clothes usually.

I'm always willing to offer combine postage army items lend themselves to being bundled up, but whats the best way of doing this to minimise having to pay fvfs on the refunded bit and to also avoid defects which is what happened recently when I cancelled and refunded and then issued a combined invoice.

Thank you !

I think I may have found the solution and have taken this from a current live auction

I am happy to combine postage and give postage discount where possible. Please ask for combined invoice by requesting total before you pay.

  1. Add every single item you want to buy to the basket
  1. When all your items are in the basket go to your shopping basket review your order details and at the right top corner there is option Request total from seller (it is in grey colour and very small) – click this one
  1. Next there is commit to buy & submit request - click this one

4.Wait for combined invoice I will send you

  1. When you receive new combined invoice, you can then pay for your order

I'm going to give this a go.

I agree with Jackson. You don't need to refund anything.

how can you give a discount on something which is free?

Why is that mean? I think you are way over thinking this tbh.
