really quick question, I've bid on something but now have found something better (which ends in 1 hour).

I don't want to be bidding on the original item anymore - is there any way I can retract it??

yes - ask the seller to cancel your bid, or you may be able to fill in the cancel bid form yourself.

I emailed the seller straight after I posted here. Haven't heard back from them yet.

I did just fill out the cancellation form, and the bid has successfully been cancelled. So I have now bid on the wanted item.
