OK - genuinely looking for your opinion on this, as I think I'm justified in this but totally willing to be told I'm wrong.
I recently purchased a second hand ('vintage') leather jacket on eBay. It was clearly worn in and gently battered, which I'm cool with. I paid £166 for it.
However on arrival it appears to have three painted montages on it - a turtle on the back, what I think is the word Metallica on the waist at the back and Red Hot Chilli Peppers logo on the left arm; all have been sort of scrubbed off / blacked out.
I contacted the seller saying I was unhappy as this wasn't clear in the pictures, no was it mentioned in the description. He claims they aren't painted out pictures on the jacket, just the natural colouring of the leather and I can't expect a brand new jacket.
What do you think? I want to raise a case against him if you guys agree, but don't know how to - can only see a 'Return' function on my dashboard which he's unwilling to let me do.
