Changes to eBay?

I have not used eBay to sell for a couple of years, but we are in desperate need of space so I need to start clearing out.

Can you still list things at 99p start? What is the easiest and cheapest way of sending items (probably mostly clothing)? Previously I've seriously under charged and been out of pocket. Is there an easy way of working out how much you will pay eBay and pay pal? Is it even worth selling clothes?

I've been a bit reluctant to sell as I say because of some bad experiences but do need to start de cluttering.

Thanks for your help

you get 20 free listings per month at any price so no don't start at 99p - it is pointless and a waste or time. Start at your minimal price you want, (end during evening - 8.30pm ish) or do buy it now. Allow 15% for fees and paypal. Free postage is good to offer. I use Hermes or Collect + - cheaper than RM and online proof of delivery which is required. Clothes - only worth it if they are good brands and in excellent condition.

Put all the measurements for clothing on your description. This should help lessen the possibility of returns.

Lots of photos with a neutral background if possible.

Agree with Jackson - start at your minimum and check sold items to guage a price. You have 20 free schedules too so schedule items to start at a time that will end on a good day and time.

Always send higher value items RM tracked/signed for/special or use a reliable courier service.
