I really wanted an item that someone had on eBay starting at 99p (baby born ballerina outfit). It had collection only, I politely messaged and asked if they would consider posting. They replied saying £6.50 on top of the item price. When I said that I would pay whatever it cost plus the postage within eBay regulations there was suddenly a much higher bid and then it was withdrawn. What's the point in being able to to that?
